The problem with the new age of social media and condensed media is that we have no realisation of our surroundings anymore.
This illustration is a metaphor for this type of behaviour. Don't get me wrong using your phone is not bad, but letting it narrow your vision will not bring you any happiness in the long run.

The idea bloomed whilst commuting to work every day at Haarlem Central station. I noticed that almost 90% of people actually have no idea what was going on in their immediate surroundings because of their cellphone. The scene is based on the first three pictures shown.
